Southport Lagoon

FOIBHS  Inc has been formed with the object of preserving the  history of the railway and also the surrounding area of Recherche Bay, Cockle Creek, Leprena, Catamaran,Southport,Hastings,Lune River and Ida Bay and building a Museum at the Ida Bay Railway to present this history of the peoples and the places.

FOIBHS Inc is also now involved in the fund raising  for the continuing preservation of the State owned railway track, buildings and grounds of the Ida Bay State Reserve.

The Stephen Walker Limited Print is our first fundraiser, very generously donated by Stephen and Elizabeth Walker.   These prints are available as set out below to raise funds  to purchase sleepers of which we still have 2,500 to replace  and the added components for fixing these sleepers.
