- Your tour takes you down through the beautiful Huon Valley, passing quaint fishing villages along the way with panoramic views. We stop off at Geeveston for a look around this quaint village while enjoying some of the locally made art work and different workshops there.
- We will travel on to Ida Bay and jump on board the 14km return train trip passing through bushland, wild flowers and scenic water views to Deep Hole and Elliott’s Beach for a picnic lunch at Deep Cove and you get to stop off at some amazing historic sights along the way. You can choose to stay and enjoy the solitude of Deep Cove and take a short walk and return on the next train.
- Alternatively you can visit Hastings Caves for a 45 minute guided tour through chambers that are over 40 million years old or down to Cockle Creek.. (please see below)

PLEASE NOTE: There can be a variation to this private tour – you can also stay and do a short walk and catch the next train back instead of going to the caves or we can venture down to Cockle Creek for a short walk…or two…via the last southern roadway in Australia.
